Laser hair removal with the alexandrite laser
The laser acts on the pigment in the hair and weakens the hair root. After several sessions, fewer hairs grow back. Most suitable for dark hair on light to medium skin. Ideal if you no longer want to shave or wax every few weeks. It is best to start in autumn or winter, because the skin should not be exposed to strong sun before and after the treatment.
Waxing
Warm wax removes the hair together with the root. The skin stays smooth for a few weeks. Quick, thorough and suitable for almost all body areas, from the face to a Brazilian wax.
Sugaring
Sugar paste by Radeq Lab from the Netherlands is applied lukewarm and removed in the direction of hair growth. Many people find sugaring gentler, especially on sensitive skin. Here too, the skin stays smooth for a few weeks.

You want to reduce hair growth over several sessions: laser. You have light, blond, red or grey hair: waxing or sugaring, because the laser barely detects light hair. You have sensitive skin: sugaring. You want smooth skin at short notice, for example before a holiday: waxing or sugaring. Which is better: laser, waxing or sugaring?
It depends on your goal. The laser reduces hair over several sessions. Waxing and sugaring remove the hair together with the root for a few weeks. For light, blond, red or grey hair, waxing and sugaring are the better choice.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
The laser reduces hair growth over several sessions. Afterwards, as a rule, fewer and finer hairs grow back. Individual hairs may return later; a top-up session is then usually enough.
How many laser sessions do I need?
As a rule, several sessions a few weeks apart, because only hairs in the growth phase are reached. The exact number depends on the area, hair colour and skin type; we discuss this in the free consultation.
What is the difference between waxing and sugaring?
Waxing uses warm wax, sugaring a lukewarm sugar paste by Radeq Lab from the Netherlands. Sugaring is removed in the direction of hair growth and many people find it gentler. With both methods the result lasts a few weeks.
How long does the hair need to be for waxing or sugaring?
A few millimetres is ideal, about the length of a grain of rice. Do not shave the area for about two to three weeks beforehand.
Does it hurt?
A brief tug, or with the laser a feeling of warmth, is normal. We work calmly and adapt the procedure to your skin. Many people find it more comfortable with each treatment.
Do you offer hair removal for men?
