Manicure in Bern

Shaping and filing, careful cuticle care, hand care with nourishing oils and the finish you want: classic polish, French or gel polish. Gel polish lasts 3 to 4 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow and how much you use your hands.

Gel polish done at another salon? We remove it carefully, from CHF 20. Please mention it when booking so we plan a little more time. We do not remove polygel or nail extensions.

Pedicure in Bern

Every pedicure follows four steps: a warm foot bath, gentle removal of calluses, shaping the nails and caring for the cuticles, and finally skin care with a relaxing massage. Polish or gel polish on request.

Our pedicure is cosmetic foot care, not podiatry. Ingrown nails, corns or nail fungus belong with a podiatrist.

Can I combine a manicure and a pedicure?

Yes, hands and feet can be cared for in one appointment.

How long does gel polish last?

3 to 4 weeks, depending on nail growth and how much you use your hands. Please do not peel it off yourself; it is removed gently at your next appointment.

How often should I come?

For hands, about every three to four weeks. For feet, about every four to six weeks.

What should I bring to a pedicure?

For classic polish, open shoes or flip-flops so it does not smudge. Gel polish is dry immediately.

Is a manicure also for men?

Yes. Short, clean nails and cared-for cuticles, without polish. See also For men.

Can I give a manicure or pedicure as a gift?

Yes, with a gift voucher for a specific treatment or an amount of your choice.

How much does it cost to remove gel polish from another salon?

Removing gel polish costs CHF 20 and takes about 30 minutes for hands. New clients pay a CHF 10 surcharge for the removal. We do not offer or remove polygel or extensions.

Gel polish or regular polish: what is the difference?

On fingernails gel polish lasts 3 to 4 weeks depending on nail growth and wear, and it is dry immediately. A manicure with gel polish costs CHF 110 (about 85 min), with regular polish CHF 105 (about 80 min).

Can a broken nail be repaired?

Yes. You can add a nail repair to your manicure for CHF 5 (about 10 minutes).

Do you offer polygel or nail extensions?

No. At La Finesse you choose between a manicure without polish, with polish, with gel polish and French with gel polish. We do not offer polygel or extensions.

Which gel polish brands do you use?

We work with OPI as well as the brands Indigo, DNKA, FOX, KODI, Jolfin, Saga and Gama.

How long does gel polish last on toenails?

Depending on the person and nail growth, about 3 to 5 weeks. Toenails usually grow more slowly than fingernails.

Is a pedicure also for men and athletes?

Yes. La Finesse explicitly offers pedicures for men too, including runners and athletes. The treatment takes place in a quiet private room.

Is a foot massage included in the pedicure?

Yes. After the foot bath, callus care, shaping of the nails and cuticle care, the pedicure ends with care and a massage.
